This summer, table tennis is coming to Canary Wharf. As part of Ping! London,
100 tables will pop up across London's most famous landmarks. From the British
Library to the Tate Britain and here to Canary Wharf! From 23rd to 29th July, a
row of tables will be set up in Jubilee Place and every day from 12pm-2pm you
will have the opportunity to challenge some of the sport's most famous faces.
Former England Number Ones, Commonwealth Gold Medallists, and professional
coaches will be on hand to help people sharpen their skills, teach beginners
or umpire matches between competitive colleagues.
As part of London 2012's Open Weekend 2010, Ping! Canary Wharf
launches to coincide with the two year countdown to the games.
